Reiki is an alternative therapy referred to as energy healing. It is said to have began in Japan in the late 1800’s and involves the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms to their patient. Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or emotional pain. Energy healing aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Improving the flow of energy around the body, can enable relaxation, reduce pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
Reiki can be used in conjunction with other alternative therapies and general medicine. It is a holistic treatment that takes into account the whole person and helps activate each patient’s natural healing processes as well as restoring their physical and emotional well-being.
I am an experienced Reiki, Crystal and energy healer in Norfolk, I am guided to give usui reiki to help heal and promote good health and wellbeing. Reiki is practiced by the placement of hands on or just above your body to redirect energy. Research shows it helps reduce anxiety and improves many illnesses like migraine, endometriosis, sleep problems and overall well-being. Crystals are infused with amazing energy and i use these alongside my reiki healing to amplify the energy. They are also very beneficial for healing in their own right and create a beautiful healing energy experience.

Very relaxing and peaceful
The treatment room in The Hair Lounge Caister has such a calm and peaceful energy ideal for reiki treatment.
I will ask you to lie on a comfy table, fully clothed, whilst I play peaceful meditation music and use sage incense to create a relaxing atmosphere for you to have during treatment.
When you are comfortable i will place my hands lightly on or over specific areas of the head, limbs, and torso using different hand shapes, for between 2 and 5 minutes. During the placement of my hands the transfer of energy will start and my hands become warm and tingly. When i feel that the heat and energy, in my hands is transferred, I will remove my hands and will place them over a different area of the body until i have opened all the chakras and feel energy is flowing freely through your body.

Relaxing reiki healing in your own home
Distance reiki healing session sent to you in your own home. When we are attuned to reiki we learn about three symbols, one of which is the distance symbol. When used, this symbol allows me to send healing Reiki energy across time and space. Distance Reiki allows me to clear blockages from someone's past, as well as perform reiki on someone who is not physically present. Distance Reiki works according to an ancient principle called the Hermetic Law of Similarity, which means that we are all connected and part of a larger whole. Invoking this law during a distance Reiki session allows me to link up to the energy field of the client.
